At the center of the zone lies the CNNP, and nearby the "Generators" a large installation with a central mast pointing skyward.
Periodically the anomalous energy of the zone builds up and rapidly and violently expands outwards. Anyone not sheltering in a solid building (A Roofed Structure or DESIGNATED HQ) is instantly killed, or worse zombified and fated to wander the zone broken rotting and starving into nothing.
For Battle for Rostok, this is represented via red lights flashing throughout the facility combined with hazard Sirens across the facility PA systems.
These can last up to 10 minutes and can occur every few hours. At several key points a longer 20min Emission will occur for ADMIN purposes. Any player caught in the open will have to spend 20 minutes wandering as a hostile zombie and then respawn. Players MUST seek solid roofed shelter or shelter in a marked designated zone.
This is a core mechanic to allow staff time to repopulate loot, change costumes and roles and to reset the anomaly fields.
Hostilities are still in effect. This is not a break. Be aware and careful of who you share shelter with. Death and Bleedouts apply.
