Operation Independece Day (A Baracca Tactical Airsoft Event)

As tensions rise in the Laran Protectorate, the people are getting fed up with the way they are being treated by The Coalition of Perfidia.  The Coalition continues to demand more and more of Laran’s resources causing portions of the population to begin to starve while the rich continue to eat without a thought for the lower class.  After having multiple convoys of supplies and resources hijacked by the Laran citizens, The Coalition of Perfidia has declared martial law and brought in a peace-keeping force to restore order.

After weeks of mistreatment, Laran citizens and the Laran Protectorate have begun to attack the peacekeepers with gorilla warfare.  As these attacks become more and more frequent, The Coalition of Perfidia has decided to send in troops to quell the rebellion, however with each attack, Laran’s Citizens have started to amass a large amount of weaponry and are ready to declare their independence!

Tan - The Coalition of Perfidia

The Coalition of Perfidia is a group of countries and colonies that are ruled by a central government body.  Some people praise this government for uniting the people, while some hate the dictatorship.  The government is quick to destroy any uprising with their strong army.

Green - The Laran Protectorate

Laran is a colony created by the Coalition of Perfidia.  The Colony is named after the Etruscan god of war, Laran.  The Laran Protectorate is the Colony’s defense force and is backed by some of the Population.  Laran’s Government is seceding from The Coalition because they have had enough of their dictatorship and want to form a new governing body.

Black/Civ - The Population

The general population of the Laran Colony.  The people are divided between The Coalition of Perfidia and The Laran Protectorate, and the people have taken up arms to help their allies.  They wear armbands to show their allegiance to the team they are on.
